Job Description
In this role you will be responsible for leading and managing the development of the enterprise technology foundation services roadmaps, frameworks and solutions architectures for use in end-to-end solution design.
Specifically some of your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the delivery of the technology roadmaps for:
- Mobility services
- End user computing technology services
- Data centre services (compute, storage)
- Technology platforms (servers and storage)
- Ensure the adherence to operating frameworks
- Ensure the adherence to the technology principles, polices and standards
- Ensure the delivery of end-to-end services and solutions to stakeholders including the business and IT
- Engage and manage third party performance
- Support the IT Capability business unit to enable effective customer engagement by providing technical expertise to solutions
- Implement new initiatives that support continuous improvement
- Manage relationships with both internal and external customers
The successful applicant:
To be successful in this role you must possess the following skill set:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in Information Technology architecture
- Minimum 5 years' deep dive experience in Enterprise Technology Architecture
- Technical expertise in implementing and designing:
- Server and storage
- End user computingCloud services
- Emerging technologies
- Data centre
- Working knowledge of the entire Architecture and Solutions function
- Experience managing multiple domains
- Experience in the development of roadmaps and strategy
- Knowledge of relevant enterprise technologies
- Experience in dealing with technology vendors and managing contracts
- Commercial acumen and business understanding.
- Previous management experience
- Experience in managing a temporary workforce including variable people costs
- Sound working knowledge of IT management and Architecture methods including SOA, TOGAF, RUP, Prince 2, ITIL and ITSM
