- Exciting Greenfield Java Big Data project

My client, a leading Investment Bank who are embarking on a next generation greenfield Java Big Data platform. You will be responsible for driving the design and shaping the way the bank stores and uses its data.
You will have a strong background in Core Java and Spring Batch / Integration, design, architecture experience and strong database experience in SQL and ideally NoSQL database technologies.
Key Skills and Experience
- Java development background with experience in Core Java and Spring batch / integration
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and industry trends (NoSQL, Big Data etc.)
- Design and architecture experience that you've gained on real world projects
- Delivery focus, with an Agile software development methodology background and mindset, along with experience with relevant development tools (JIRA, etc.).
- Willingness to be hands-on as required to get the job done.
- Ideally experience with Data warehouse implementations in NoSQL database technologies, however it is not essential.
