A 6 month contract working on a project with a long term view on offer for an experienced Infrastructure Architect.


My client, based in Sydney's CBD is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join their Solutions team for an initial 6 months contract. In this role you will be responsible for providing architecture consulting support to key projects and initiatives:

  • Document the solution options, key design decisions and solution architecture for the project
  • Provide architectural oversight and guidance to the project team throughout solution delivery,
  • Contribute to the development of overall IT Enterprise level architecture plans,
  • Develop solution architectures for projects and ensure that all projects are delivered in line with the architecture plan.
  • Provide leadership, and coach and support technical groups and consulting architects on project solution architecture design and decisions during the execution phase .
  • Deliver and discuss solution architectures and recommendations to both senior IT and business stakeholders,

Required Skills

  • Background in enterprise class infrastructure solutions design and delivery
  • Depth of technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas, either as a hand-on engineer or manager of technical teams: UNIX Engineering;
  • Database Administration; Windows Engineering; Data Networks; Storage Engineering
    Tertiary qualification in Computing, Information Technology or Engineering
