Senior Project Manager

Global general insurance giant has a growing presence in Sydney's life insurance market. With a US parent organisation the company has innovation in its DNA. Established in the corporate superannuation market, the organisation is keen to disrupt Australia?s retail life insurance industry through developing products utilising customer-centred design and LEAN thinking. Insurance and innovation don't typically appear in the same sentence...until now.

To be a success in this role you will have a good blend of the following skills and experience:

• At least 8 years project management experience managing medium to large projects.
• Experience with project definition and business case development (scope, objectives, constraints, assumptions, benefits, issues and risks)
• Experience managing Agile projects with strong focus on Human-CentredDesign and UX/Customer Experience dependencies
• Tracking and forecasting project/program financials against budget
• Develop and manage project plan, to support the activity, resources and project interdependencies
• Develop the project governance structure eg. Project Steering Committees, Project Team Meetings etc.
• Report to the Program Manager on project progress, expenditure and benefits profile
