Our client is seeking a Corporate Commercial lawyer with at least 2-5 years PQE experience to work across multiple partners on broad corporate and commercial matters.  


You will be working with an impressive base of clients within a variety of industries.


THE ROLE

Commerical matters can come in from industries as diverse as resources and tertiary education.  The work will flow from different partners in the team, so will require someone who can gather and process information from disparate businesses and organisations, yet still deliver excellent client service and strong technical advice.


Work involved;

  • Sales / purchases of business and companies;
  • General contract drafting, reviews and advice (including supply agreements supply;
    agreements, terms and conditions, consultancy agreements);
  • Structuring including shareholders / unitholders and joint venture agreements;
  • Loan and security documents;
  • Compliance advice (e.g. Consumer Law and Corporations Act);
  • Public company work (e.g. takeovers);
  • Corporate law, including AFSL, fundraising;

EXPERIENCE

  • At least 2-5 years post admission experience;
  • Commercial transactional experience is essential;
  • Strong technical expertise is essential;
  • Corporate law experience;
  • Knowledge of privacy laws and trademarks
