Corporate (Private Equity) Senior Associate

Our client is regarded as one of the largest firms in the world. With a smaller operation in Australia, their Sydney office can offer better deal exposure, a more collegiate culture and better benefits than a standard top tier.

The firm's corporate group is made up of numerous experts in their fields who are heavily featured in the press as market leaders in corporate law. They regularly work on headline deals in the local and international markets. Being a smaller group, the partners can offer exposure to a wide range of deals that includes:

• Private equity
• Capital markets
• Public M&A
• Joint ventures
• Capital raising
• Corporate advisory

Due to an upturn in work, the corporate group are looking for an experienced lawyer to join the team. This person will support a number of partners so will suit someone who is interested in doing broad work. Ideally, they are looking for someone between 4 and 7 years PAE however, more senior specialists in this area will be considered.
Top/mid-tier experience is preferred as are solid academics from a recognised university. Candidates with overseas corporate experience are also encouraged to apply.
