My client, a financial services business, is seeking an experienced Risk & Compliance Manager on a daily rate contract basis.


The role:


This role sits in the second line of defence and is primarily responsible for the implementation of risk & compliance focussed management initiatives and oversight of frameworks and processes.


Responsibilities include:

  • Advice and oversight to ensure first line of defence regulatory compliance
  • Management of junior team members
  • Writing reports for APRA and the board
  • Embedding and managing regulatory change into the business

Desired skills and experience:

  • Strong Risk & Compliance experience from an insurance perspective
  • Mentoring and management experience
  • Strong understanding of relevant regulations for the insurance market
  • Relevant qualification
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
