Due to exponential growth within the business there is demand for additional finance support and as a result my client is looking to hire a Financial Accountant. This is a high profile position in a growing team and will suit a newly qualified CA/CPA.
In this role you will provide support to the business by ensuring accurate and timely accounting services to responsible entities/managers of securitisation trusts, property trusts and managed investment schemes.
Specific deliverables will include:
- Preparation of monthly management reports.
- Prepare and review financial reports in accordance with Accounting Standards and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Review and prepare tax calculations
- Preparation of distribution calculations for MITs
- Prepare and lodge BAS statements
This role is an ideal opportunity for someone with between 3 • 5 yrs experience currently working for a Chartered Accounting firm looking to make their 1st move into a hands on financial accounting role. Ideally you will have worked in the Business Services division of a CA firm and have some experience and knowledge of Managed Investment Trusts. Alternatively you will currently be working as a Securitisation Accountant within the finance sector.
Sound analytical and strong problem solving skills will enable you to work effectively in this fast paced environment. Strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills are also a must have in this role.
