A unique and high profile opportunity has opened up within finance for an experienced Financial & Regulatory Reporting expert to join this leading international bank.


The role offers the successful candidate significant interaction with multiple stakeholders including senior finance leaders both domestically and offshore, Front office, COO, Group Treasury, Risk Management and Legal.


Key deliverables include:

  • Preparation of financial and statutory reporting. This includes review of key month end processes, including balance sheet, P&L, Basel III capital reporting;
  • Review of technical accounting issues including complex financial instrument disclosures;
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly APRA returns;
  • Daily liquidity reporting;
  • Manage effective relationships with offshore finance hubs

The successful candidate will be CA (ideally) or CPA qualified with a sound understanding of APRA reporting, IFRS reporting and local taxation knowledge. You will also have an understanding of Basel III liquidity reporting coupled with both financial product and markets knowledge. As a direct result of your excellent communication and influencing skills, you are experienced in building and maintaining strong relationships, in particularly with the front office and support functions.
